NADIA GODFREY.

bella isn’t her real mom. she didn’t give birth to her. she didn’t have bella’s eyes, or her nose. but bella is still just as much a mother to nadia as any child could have. she raised the girl. and, though nadia may not call bella MOM, both know just how true that title would be.
❛ i know — i… ❜ bright blue eyes focus on bella’s face. the line of questioning no doubt confuses her, but she answers truthfully. ❛ yeah. i mean… i do trust you. why wouldn’t i? ❜ quizzical brows furrow and lips purse in thought. ❛ is there something you want to talk about? ❜ though empathetic, nadia’s powers can only grant so much insight into someone’s mood. questions are still essential in order to decipher another. ‒ and bella is starting to worry her.

and it was remarkable how tied bella was to the girl – oh, it really is like she was just a baby not long ago. and consistently and for the rest of forever, she would protect the girl with every fiber in her body. yes, she had roman and peter to really be there for her, provide wings to hide under, but bella – she really loved nadia like her own.
her smile is small and tender, and she presses her lips to the top of the girls head before releasing her. ❛ no, no.. it’s okay. i just wanted to check in on you. ❜ the fact that the girl is so empathetic often makes her worry about the projection of her own emotions; she remembers jasper, calling her out when her mask worked a bit too well. bella opts for voicing the bits of her thoughts to her, though. ❛ you know i try to be as open as i can with you, right? – you’re a good reader, s’hard to hide things from you sometimes. i think i’m just feeling.. a bit out of my own head lately. and i just want you to know, no matter how i seem, i’m still here for anything you need. ❜
